A 47-year-old man from Albuquerque, New Mexico, suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash in Pettis County on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Route HH, approximately four miles north of Sedalia. The motorcyclist was traveling west when he lost control of his Harley, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn, resulting in him being ejected.
Emergency responders transported the man to a hospital in Columbia. Authorities noted he was not wearing proper safety gear at the time of the accident. The investigation remains ongoing.
