Motorcyclist in Appleton Arrested for Sixth OWI Offense.

APPLETON (WLUK) — A 61-year-old man was arrested for his sixth offense of operating while intoxicated late Saturday night in Appleton.

At approximately 11:32 p.m., a Wisconsin State Trooper reported observing a Harley Davidson motorcycle driving recklessly on Newberry Street.

The trooper initiated a traffic stop and noted signs of impairment from the driver. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, confirmed the driver’s intoxication.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the motorcycle was seen deviating from its designated lane and passing vehicles on the right.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
