NEW HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Minn. — A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital following a collision with a road grader in Olmsted County on Thursday.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. near the intersection of County 3 Northwest and County Road 105 Northwest. According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, the road grader was preparing to turn when the motorcyclist attempted to pass it.
The motorcyclist, an adult male from Rochester, collided with the road grader and was thrown into a ditch, suffering a leg fracture. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Mayo One airlifted him to a hospital for medical treatment. The man’s name and current condition have not been disclosed.
The incident remains under investigation, and there were no additional injuries reported.
