WHITMAN, Mass. — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash with a vehicle on Temple Street on Sunday night.
The accident occurred around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Temple and West Street. Whitman Police and Fire responded to reports of the collision involving a motorcycle and a black Chevy Equinox.
On arrival, responders discovered significant damage to both vehicles. The motorcyclist was found with serious injuries and transported to a local hospital, while the driver of the Equinox reported no injuries.
Authorities indicated that the motorcycle was traveling east on Temple Street when it collided with the Equinox, which was making a turn onto Martin Street.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, according to police.
