BRIDGEPORT — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday in a crash on Wordin Avenue, according to authorities.
Police and firefighters responded to the incident at the intersection of Wordin and Railroad avenues at 1:17 p.m.
Shawnna White, a Bridgeport police spokesperson, reported that the motorcyclist lost control and collided with a parked vehicle. The injured driver was transported to Bridgeport Hospital; the extent of injuries is currently unknown.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The roadway was briefly closed while emergency services attended to the scene and conducted an investigation.
