Motorcyclist injured in collision with SUV in Willmar, Minnesota.

ROSELAND, MN — A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Monday morning near Roseland.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at 10:33 a.m. at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and 165th Avenue Southwest. Yancy Evenson, 50, of Willmar, was riding a Yamaha motorcycle southbound when he collided with a westbound 2013 Ford Explorer driven by Ryan Graupmann, 36, of Spicer.

Evenson was transported by Raymond Ambulance to CentraCare — Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries. There was no report of injuries to Graupmann.

The crash took place approximately 2 miles north of Roseland. Emergency response included assistance from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Fire and Ambulance, CentraCare Ambulance, Blomkest Fire Department, Blomkest First Responders, and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
