A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Imperial Highway in Placentia at approximately 12:30 p.m. on July 22, 2026.
According to the Placentia Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling westbound when he struck a vehicle making a left turn into a shopping center from eastbound Imperial Highway. Emergency personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene; his identity is currently withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement. Authorities stated that there is no evidence suggesting drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident.
