A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash involving another motorcycle and a vehicle on the Pines to Palms Highway near Taylor, south of Palm Springs, on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at approximately 3:13 p.m. near Carrizo Road.
Authorities said a witness indicated that one motorcycle veered off the road and down an embankment. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity, age, and gender have not yet been released.
It remains unclear if additional injuries occurred during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
