Caldwell Crash Injures 18-Year-Old Motorcyclist on U.S. 20-26
CANYON COUNTY, ID – An 18-year-old Caldwell man sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 20-26 Thursday evening.
The collision occurred at 6:17 p.m. near milepost 25, as a 44-year-old Caldwell woman driving west attempted to turn left onto Smeed Parkway, colliding with an eastbound motorcycle operated by the teen.
Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, while the car’s driver reported no injuries. The intersection was closed for approximately two hours to facilitate emergency response.
The Idaho State Police is conducting an investigation into the incident.
