Oronoco, MN (KROC-AM News) – A 49-year-old motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries in a crash early Saturday morning near Oronoco.
Emergency responders from the Pine Island Fire Department arrived at the scene around 7:00 a.m. The incident took place in the 10000 block of 18th Avenue NW, near the intersection of 18th Ave. NW and 100th St. NW.
According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, the rider lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a ditch sometime overnight. He was conscious when first responders arrived.
Rider Transported to Hospital
The injured motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. No update on his condition is available at this time.
The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash. No additional details about the incident have been released.
