CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a deer in Adams County Friday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to U.S. 52 near mile marker 25 in Green Township at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Preliminary investigations indicate that 44-year-old Anthony P. Evans was riding a 1997 Suzuki Intruder 800 eastbound when the motorcycle struck a deer crossing the road.
Evans was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The crash is currently under investigation.
