Motorcyclist Killed in Cheyenne Building Crash.

Motorcyclist Fatally Crashes into Building in Cheyenne

A 20-year-old man died after crashing his motorcycle into a building at East Lincolnway and Nationway in Cheyenne around 8:09 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist was riding over the speed limit when he veered off the road, struck a curb, and collided with the building. He was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported that video footage showed the motorcyclist traveling at least 10 mph above the limit before the crash. Officials indicated that glare from the sun may have contributed to the incident, but further investigation is ongoing.

Cheyenne Police authorities stated the victim’s parents were present at the hospital. Due to his out-of-state license plates, his hometown remains unidentified.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, this incident marks the 17th motorcyclist fatality on Wyoming roads this year. The Cheyenne Police Department urged drivers to exercise caution and practice defensive driving to enhance roadway safety.
