Motorcycle Crash in Exeter Township Leaves One Dead

A motorcycle crash involving a minivan in Exeter Township, Pennsylvania, resulted in one fatality early Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.

According to the Berks County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of St. Lawrence Avenue and Shelbourne Road.

Officials confirmed the collision involved a motorcycle and a minivan. The motorcyclist, identified as 49-year-old Larry Pergola Jr. of Exeter Township, was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately one hour later.

The cause of death is pending further investigation, authorities said. Following the crash, emergency responders were on the scene to assist and manage traffic.
