Motorcyclist Dies in Collision with Semi-Truck in Herriman
HERRIMAN, Utah, June 8, 2026 — A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a semi-truck Monday morning on 12600 South at Mountain View Corridor.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:46 a.m. when the motorcycle, traveling westbound, drove in front of the semi-truck and was struck, according to Officer Jennifer Fairbanks of the Herriman Police Department.
The motorcyclist, believed to be aged 40 or 41, was wearing a helmet but was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The semi-truck driver, estimated to be 70 or 71 years old, showed no signs of impairment and is cooperating with investigators, authorities said.
The roadway was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.
