CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Niantic Avenue in Cranston on Monday night.
The accident, which involved a single motorcycle, occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist, a 37-year-old man from Cranston, died at the scene.
Emergency response included Cranston Police and the Fire Department, who provided medical aid.
Niantic Avenue was closed in both directions for approximately two hours as an investigation was conducted.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
