ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A motorcyclist died after a single-vehicle crash in Roanoke County on Saturday evening.
Police responded to the scene at 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dow Hollow Road and West Main Street.
The motorcyclist, identified as 59-year-old Randall Scott Price of Salem, was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities said excessive speed was a contributing factor in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information has been provided.
