ROUND ROCK, Texas — A motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle crash in Round Rock on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. on RM 1431 between I-35 and the entrance to Texas Crushed Stone. Authorities confirmed two passenger vehicles were involved in the crash.
Eastbound and westbound lanes are closed, and police are advising drivers to avoid the area.
One driver sustained minor injuries, while the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Round Rock Police Department and medical units are on-site. Towing services are clearing the vehicles involved.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
