Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Car in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A motorcyclist died Tuesday afternoon following a crash with a car in the Highland Park neighborhood.
The collision occurred around 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of Old Park Road and Crittenden Drive, according to Louisville Metro Police. A man on a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Crittenden Drive when he entered the intersection and collided with a car, which was reportedly pulling into the intersection.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was unharmed and did not appear to have seen the motorcycle prior to the crash.
No additional vehicles were involved, and the incident is under investigation by authorities. There were no lane closures reported at the time of the crash.
