GLENVILLE, NY (WRGB) — A motorcycle crash on Saratoga Road resulted in one fatality Thursday afternoon, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene between High Mills Scotch Bush Road and Kingsbury Road at 3:13 p.m. for a reported collision involving a motorcycle and a car.
According to police, the motorcycle was traveling north on Saratoga Road (State Rt. 50) when a car, exiting Kingsbury Road, entered its path. The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
Saratoga Road is closed from High Mills Scotch Bush Road to Lake Hill Road as the investigation and reconstruction efforts are underway. Authorities stated that the identity of the deceased will be withheld pending the notification of next of kin, and the driver of the car, due to their age.
