EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 29-year-old motorcyclist died Monday at a hospital following a suspected hit-and-run crash on I-10 Sunday night.
According to the El Paso Police Department, Ricardo Dominguez sustained critical injuries in the incident around 9 p.m. Sunday, which led to the closure of all eastbound lanes at Yarbrough.
Investigators reported that a speeding vehicle collided with Dominguez’s 2025 Kawasaki ZX4000 while attempting to change lanes.
Authorities are seeking information about the other vehicle, described as “light colored.” They encourage witnesses to contact the EPPD’s non-emergency number at 915-832-4400 or to provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.
This incident marks the 24th traffic death in El Paso for 2026, a decrease from 30 fatalities at the same time last year, police statistics indicate.
