NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A motorcyclist died following an accident on the I-440 exit ramp to I-24 East on Monday afternoon.
According to Metro Nashville Police, 46-year-old Jason Gooch lost control of his Kawasaki ZX6 while navigating a curve, crashing into the cable barrier median.
Gooch was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities reported no signs of impairment at the scene.
Emergency responders were dispatched, and the ramp experienced temporary lane closures during the investigation.
