LODI, NJ — A 37-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash involving a Tesla in Bergen County Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Gyancarlo Cabrera, of North Bergen, was riding a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle when he collided with the vehicle near a Wawa convenience store around 3 p.m. Cabrera was ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported Cabrera to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, authorities confirmed.
According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation revealed no suspected criminal activity, and no charges are expected to be filed.
A memorial service for Cabrera is scheduled for next week, as stated in his obituary.
