STANLEY, N.D. — A motorcycle crash Sunday evening on North Dakota Highway 8 claimed the life of a 29-year-old Bowbells man.
Greyson Benstead was traveling northbound when he left the roadway around 8:10 p.m., vaulting over a field approach, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash. Burke County is located in the western part of North Dakota, along the U.S.-Canada border.
