SANTA FE, NM – A collision early Sunday killed a motorcyclist near the intersection of Agua Fria Street and Arroyo de Las Cruces Road at approximately 1:47 a.m.
According to the Santa Fe Police Department, the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Bradley Trujillo of Santa Fe, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, remained at the scene.
Investigators from the Traffic Unit and Crime Scene Unit arrived to process the area for evidence. No further details regarding the cause of the accident were immediately available.
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Emergency crews responded to a crash on Interstate 25 southbound at mile marker 227 near Comanche Road on Tuesday afternoon.
An advisory from NMRoads noted that the accident occurred at approximately 12:59 p.m., leading to the closure of the right lane. Motorists were advised to expect delays as crews worked to clear the scene.
CHAVES COUNTY, NM – Authorities reported an accident involving a motorcycle rider in Chaves County on Sunday.
According to the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on U.S. 70 NE (Clovis Highway) at about 5:45 p.m. The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local medical facility; however, details regarding their condition have not been disclosed.
