A fatal three-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 5:50 a.m. on Sunday along eastbound I-10 near Sacaton, Arizona.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), a motorcyclist rear-ended a stake-bed truck, leading to their ejection from the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was subsequently struck by another vehicle and died from injuries sustained. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly after the accident was reported. As of 11:26 a.m., all lanes on eastbound I-10 were reopened to traffic.
Authorities have not indicated the status of any other injuries or the ongoing investigation.
