YUMA, AZ — A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV on County 14th Street near Avenue B shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Abraham Corral was riding a Harley-Davidson northbound when he crashed into the rear of a Honda CR-V.
Corral was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. The Honda driver sustained minor injuries and was also hospitalized.
Authorities indicated that speed may have contributed to the incident. The crash is under investigation.
