TOWN OF FOX LAKE, Wis. – A 37-year-old Randolph motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a deer on County Road A on Thursday evening, June 4.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. while the rider was heading north on County Road A, just north of Blackhawk Trail. The motorcycle struck a deer that ventured into the roadway.
Emergency responders transported the rider via UW Med Flight to UW Hospital in Madison for treatment of his injuries. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a helmet and other protective gear at the time of the accident.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing. No further details regarding additional vehicles or lane closures were provided.
