A motorcycle accident near Lucky Peak resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man on Saturday morning.
Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was riding a Ducati Supersport south on Idaho 21 when he veered into oncoming traffic just before 6:24 a.m., colliding with a Ford F-250 truck.
The rider was airlifted by Life Flight to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Emergency responders from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office and Boise Police Department attended the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident and has asked for witnesses to come forward with any information. The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity after notifying next of kin.
