Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in Glasgow crash.

GLASGOW, Ky. – A motorcycle collision left one seriously injured Sunday morning at the intersection of East Main Street and Bowen Avenue.

According to the Glasgow Police Department (GPD), the incident involved a motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Dakota Dixon Lee and a vehicle operated by 54-year-old Lucinda Hurt. Preliminary reports indicate Lee was traveling east in the wrong lane when he struck Hurt’s vehicle as she attempted to turn left from Bowen Avenue onto East Main Street.

Lee was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Hurt sustained minor injuries but did not require immediate medical attention.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No lane closures were reported.
