NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A motorcycle crash late Friday night on Briley Parkway resulted in the death of a 30-year-old Mt. Juliet man, according to Metro Police.
Authorities identified the victim as Nicholas Anderson. The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. while Anderson was riding a Honda motorcycle northbound with a group when he lost control and veered off into a ditch.
First responders transported Anderson to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Police reported that excessive speed may have contributed to the crash; however, there were no signs of impairment at the scene. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
