CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A motorcycle crash involving a truck resulted in one fatality in Carson City on Sunday evening.
Nevada State Police reported the incident occurred on U.S. 50 at Drako Way at approximately 5:34 p.m. on August 30.
Authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The truck driver, also an adult male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are examining impairment as a possible contributing factor, though officials have not specified which driver may be suspected of impairment.
U.S. 50 at Drako Way saw reduced travel lanes during the investigation, with all lanes reopened by 4:45 a.m. on August 31.
The motorcyclist’s identity is pending notification of next of kin, according to authorities.
