A 47-year-old man from Albuquerque, New Mexico, sustained moderate injuries in a motorcycle accident on Route HH in Pettis County on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. as the man was traveling west about four miles north of Sedalia. His Harley-Davidson motorcycle veered off the roadway and overturned, ejecting him from the bike.
Emergency responders transported the man to a hospital in Columbia. Authorities noted that he was not wearing appropriate safety gear at the time of the crash. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
