Motorcyclist Dies After Fall from Flyover Ramp in Athens

ATHENS, GA — A 21-year-old motorcyclist fell to his death from a flyover ramp in Athens on Sunday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., according to Athens-Clarke County Police, Marlon Rosales was riding a 2021 Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle on the Epps Bridge Parkway ramp when he lost control, struck the concrete guardrail, and fell off the bridge. Both the motorcycle and Rosales landed on the eastbound shoulder of Atlanta Highway.

Rosales, a resident of Bethlehem, was pronounced dead at the scene.
