FREEBORN COUNTY, Minn. — A 38-year-old man from Lake Mills, Iowa, was killed in a crash on Interstate 35 early Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. on northbound I-35 at milepost 11. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2000 GMC Sierra pickup left the roadway and crashed into a median ditch.
Emergency responders included the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Albert Lea Police, Albert Lea Fire, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance. The driver, identified as Joshua David Scott, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene.
