BROWN COUNTY — A three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle left one man dead on State Route 32 near U.S. 62 Monday morning.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m., according to authorities. A Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle, operated by 28-year-old Charles Rump, collided with a Volvo stopped at a red light in the left lane.
After striking the Volvo, Rump crashed into a Chevrolet 6500HD truck waiting in the right lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was wearing a DOT helmet at the time of the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol Georgetown Post is conducting the investigation. No further details have been released, and lane closures were in effect during the response and investigation.
