Motorcycle Crash in Lincoln County Injures Oklahoma Man
A motorcycle crash Saturday night in Lincoln County left a 28-year-old Oklahoma man injured.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 11 p.m. on Kansas Highway 18, approximately three miles west of Lincoln. Jacob Barnes, from Oklahoma City, was riding a 2004 Honda 13V motorcycle eastbound when he struck a deer that crossed from the north side of the roadway.
Barnes was transported to Salina Regional Health Center with suspected serious injuries. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
