Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on School House Road in Old Saybrook
A single-vehicle motorcycle crash on School House Road in Old Saybrook around 1:20 a.m. Thursday resulted in the death of 30-year-old Michael Christopher Dodge.
First responders found Dodge, the sole rider, suffering from severe injuries. Emergency Medical Services performed life-saving measures, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Authorities closed School House Road between Day Drive and Cinnamon Ridge for an investigation by the Old Saybrook Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team. The road was reopened by 6:15 a.m.
Police are actively investigating the incident.
