One dead and a child injured in crash involving alleged drunk driver, motorcycle, and school bus, say police.

Authorities are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash involving a school bus, motorcycle, and pickup truck in Farmington on Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Farmington Avenue, according to police. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and an unknown number of injuries were reported. The victims’ identities have not yet been released.

The highway was closed for several hours as emergency responders, including the FARMINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT and FARMINGTON FIRE DEPARTMENT, worked to clear the wreckage and assist the injured. No additional vehicles were involved.

As of now, the cause of the crash is under investigation, and authorities are interviewing witnesses. Towing services were called to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
