Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-40 in Nashville Injures Three

NASHVILLE, TN — A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 40 resulted in three injuries on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred near Exit 210 at approximately 3:15 p.m.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a total of five vehicles were involved in the crash, which caused significant traffic delays in both directions. Emergency services responded, including the Nashville Fire Department and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

All injured parties were transported to Ascension St. Thomas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The scene prompted the closure of two westbound lanes while crews conducted an assessment and cleared the wreckage.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident, with no charges reported at this time. Traffic on I-40 has since resumed, but residual delays are expected as conditions normalize.
