TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (Local News Wire) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Alabama 69 near the 137 mile marker, south of Tuscaloosa.
Willie Bryant, 60, of Sawyerville, Ala., was operating the motorcycle and died from his injuries.
The SUV driver sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, along with a juvenile passenger.
Authorities reported that the roadway was temporarily closed for the investigation and cleanup, with tow services called to the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
