LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A serious motorcycle crash on Georgetown Street has led to a complete road closure in both directions.
Authorities said the Lexington Fire Department responded to the scene at 2:46 p.m., where a motorcycle collided with another vehicle.
One individual was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to emergency officials.
Georgetown Street is shut down between Glen Arvin Avenue and Douglas Avenue, with no estimated time for reopening. Witnesses reported heavy traffic in the area as emergency crews work at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
