HOMER, Ill. (WCIA) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a crash on Illinois Route 49 Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:08 p.m. near the intersection with County Road 700N, according to the Illinois State Police. Officials confirmed that the crash involved only the motorcycle.
The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been disclosed. Authorities did not provide details regarding how the crash happened.
No road closures have been reported in the area as emergency response teams continue to manage the situation.
