BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WDTV) – A motorcycle accident late Tuesday night on Pennsylvania Avenue left one person injured and transported to a hospital.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. when a single motorcyclist collided with a telephone pole, according to authorities. HealthNet transported the injured rider to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
The Bridgeport Police Department and the Bridgeport Fire Department responded to the scene. The police have initiated an investigation into the accident.
As of now, the condition of the motorcyclist remains unknown.
