One killed and another injured in motorcycle accident in Camden County.

A female passenger from Laquey, Mo., died following a motorcycle accident on June 29, confirmed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

Two individuals from Laquey, Mo., sustained injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Camden County on June 28.

According to MSHP, a 2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Glide was traveling east on Route A near Rainwater Drive at 9:58 p.m. when a deer entered the roadway.

The 50-year-old male driver collided with the deer, resulting in both he and his 48-year-old female passenger being ejected from the motorcycle.

Authorities reported the driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital. The passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital by MU Air.

According to MSHP, neither individual was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and no lane closures were reported.
