One killed and one arrested following motorcycle crash in Denver.

DENVER — A motorcycle crash on Sunday morning resulted in one fatality and the arrest of the rider, according to the Denver Police Department.

The incident occurred around 2:41 a.m. at the intersection of S. Federal Boulevard and W. Virginia Avenue.

Authorities confirmed that the passenger on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the rider, identified as 25-year-old Mario Flores Ruiz-Esparza, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Ruiz-Esparza was subsequently arrested on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, although police have not confirmed whether the motorcycle was stolen.

Investigators are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether other vehicles were involved. No further details are available at this time.
