PALM SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) — A motorcycle collision with an SUV left one person dead on Friday afternoon.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, crews responded to the scene at the intersection of 10th Avenue North at approximately 4:15 p.m. Firefighters discovered a motorcycle and SUV involved in the crash, with one individual lying in the roadway.
The intersection was closed following the incident, with northbound South Congress Avenue traffic redirected east onto 10th Avenue North, causing significant delays.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. The SUV driver declined medical transport.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
