OLD SAYBROOK — A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash on School House Road early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m., involving only the motorcycle and its rider, according to Old Saybrook Police. First responders provided medical assistance at the scene, but the victim succumbed to injuries.
Authorities are withholding the victim’s identity until family notification. The Old Saybrook Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
