One person killed and another hospitalized in Camden County motorcycle accident.

A female passenger from Laquey, Mo., was pronounced dead at 10:16 a.m. on Monday, June 29, at University Hospital, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

A single-vehicle accident in Camden County left two people injured Sunday night. The incident occurred around 9:58 p.m. on Route A near Rainwater Drive.

According to MSHP, a 2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Glide was traveling east when a deer entered the roadway, leading to a collision.

The 50-year-old male driver and a 48-year-old female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital. The passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital by MU Air.

Authorities confirmed that neither individual was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. This incident remains under investigation, and no further details on lane closures or tows were announced.
