WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 48-year-old Phillipsburg man died following a collision between a motorcycle and a car on South Delaware Drive at 7 p.m. on October 1.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the motorcycle was traveling south when it lost control for unknown reasons, ejecting the rider. The motorcycle subsequently slid into the northbound lane, where it was struck by another vehicle.
Both vehicles were reported fully engulfed in flames. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with suspected injuries.
South Delaware Drive was closed as authorities conducted an investigation and cleared the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and further details will be released as available.
