DOVER, New Hampshire – A motorcycle crash on Route 16 claimed the life of a 44-year-old man on Monday afternoon.
According to New Hampshire State Police, Jason Emerizian of Exeter lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail around 2:41 p.m. Witnesses reported that he was thrown from the motorcycle and subsequently struck by a passing vehicle. Emerizian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that a passenger on the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries, but their condition is expected to improve.
Emergency response teams were on site, and the incident is under investigation. Lane closures occurred as first responders managed the scene.
